“Saving the Stone-curlew” by Keith Betton.Stone-curlews used to breed widely on the South Downs, including in Sussex, but numbers declined dramatically in the early part of the 20th century until they were all but extinct. Keith is involved in the protection and conservation of the species, and will tell is what is involved and how they are now doing.
