A nice surprise this morning when a pair of Siskins popped into the garden to have breakfast on the feeders. Keep a look out for them on your feeders! Sounds of spring also around the garden with a Chiffchaff, ‘chiffchaffing’ away at the back of the garden while a little further away, a Blackcap was singing his head off. No Brambling this morning, the first day we haven’t recorded them since the end of February, reckon they must have decoded it was time to go back to northern Europe to breed. (MR)
